Why Writing the Silence?

Silence, particularly intentional silence, opens the doors to the spaciousness within and to our creative selves.  It is neither the only way of entering this space, nor better or worse than any other, but it is one to which I am drawn and one which I find both restorative and energizing.

Some of my silent moments are very intentional and some are what I like to think of as gifts - unexpected moments of stillness in the chaos of life with young children. This site is container - a space where I gather the poems and musings that bubble to the surface in moments of silence and share them with others.  It is my hope that this site will allow me to share some of give back
