Writing the Silence

Silence, particularly intentional silence, opens the doors to the spaciousness within and to our creative selves. This site is a gathering of poems and musings that have bubbled to the surface in moments of silence. It is a space of gratitude ... and of offering.

If you find something here that speaks to you, or brings you to a sacred moment, then this place has become what I intended it to be.

Over the years, I have experienced the sacred in so many different guises. My sacred tradition, though, is Christianity (emerging, some would say), and I often use the word God to refer to the Divine.  If there is another word that works better for you (Great Spirit, Universe, Light, Love,
Ground of Being, One, Eternal Now...), substitute it and let the remaining words speak from within it.
